1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of studyatmake.com, your MAKE Institute of Future Industries account and your application to MAKE Institute of Future Industries. They apply to everyone who visits the website, creates an account, or submits an application. By using the website, creating an account or submitting an application, you agree to these terms and to the published Privacy Notice, Admissions Policy and Fees, Refunds and Cancellations policy that are in force at that time.
2. Words used in these terms
- "MAKE Institute of Future Industries", "we", "us" and "our" mean MAKE Institute of Future Industries, Tallinn, Estonia.
- "Website" means studyatmake.com and the applicant portal available through it.
- "Account" means the personal account you create with your own email address.
- "Application" means the application you submit for a programme and intake.
- "Offer" means an offer of a place issued by MAKE Institute of Future Industries through an authorised channel.
- "Invoice" means the individual invoice issued to you stating the amount, due date and payment reference that apply to you.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate, complete and current information, and keep it up to date. You must use your own email address and keep access to that mailbox secure, because it is the address we use to verify you and to send notices. One account belongs to one applicant. Do not create multiple accounts to submit more than one application, and do not submit an application on behalf of someone else. You are responsible for everything submitted through your account and for keeping your sign-in codes private. Tell us at admissions@studyatmake.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Applying and submitting an application
Applications are submitted through studyatmake.com. You will be asked to choose your location, School and intake, then to provide your details, education information, supporting documents and a statement of motivation. You may save a draft and return to it later. Once submitted, an application becomes part of the MAKE Institute of Future Industries admissions record and can no longer be edited by you, so please review every step before you submit. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission, an offer, enrolment, a visa or any other outcome. We may ask for further information or clearer documents where this is needed to assess your application.
5. Admissions and offers
Applications are assessed under the published Admissions Policy and any programme-specific or intake-specific requirements communicated to you. An offer is valid only when it is issued by MAKE Institute of Future Industries through an authorised channel. Offers are not made by agents, messengers or informal correspondence. Any conditions, payment requirements, deadlines and next steps are stated in your offer and, where relevant, in your individual invoice. A place is confirmed only when the conditions in your offer and the applicable payment requirements have been met.
6. Fees and payment
Current fees, instalment arrangements, cancellation rules and refund rules are set out in the published Fees, Refunds and Cancellations policy. Your individual invoice is the only payment instruction that applies to you, so do not pay on the basis of an informal message, a screenshot or an older page. The application fee is €190. It is invoiced separately from tuition and, once paid, it is non-refundable except where a duplicate payment has been made. Payments must be made in the currency and by the method stated on your invoice. Your bank may apply its own charges, which we do not control and cannot refund.
7. Accuracy, integrity and consequences
All information and documents you provide must be genuine, accurate and submitted by you or with your authority. Where information or a document is false, misleading, altered, obtained improperly or not yours to submit, MAKE Institute of Future Industries may request an explanation, decline the application, withdraw an offer or cancel enrolment.
8. Refusals, changes and cancellations by us
MAKE Institute of Future Industries may decide not to offer a place, or may withdraw an offer or cancel a place, where an application does not meet the published requirements, where information cannot be verified, where a payment is not received by the due date, or where this is necessary to protect the integrity of the programme or to comply with the law. Where an application is refused, the reason is recorded in the applicant portal. Where a place is cancelled, we will explain the reason and how any applicable refund is handled under the Fees, Refunds and Cancellations policy.
9. Your choices
You may correct your details, ask questions about your application, or ask to delete an application that has been refused, using the applicant portal or by writing to admissions@studyatmake.com. Where an application has been submitted, some records must be retained as explained in the Privacy Notice. You may stop using the website at any time, but that does not by itself cancel an application, an offer or a payment obligation.
10. International applicants
International applicants are responsible for meeting the requirements of the relevant immigration authority and for submitting their own visa or residence application. Where the published admissions, enrolment and payment conditions have been met, MAKE Institute of Future Industries may provide institutional documents that support an application. MAKE Institute of Future Industries does not decide visa or immigration outcomes and cannot guarantee them.
11. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access another person's account, documents or information.
- Do not interfere with, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the service.
- Do not upload unlawful, malicious, misleading or fraudulent material, or material that infringes the rights of others.
- Do not use the website or its content for a purpose that is not connected with MAKE Institute of Future Industries, or republish substantial parts of it without written permission.
12. Communications
MAKE Institute of Future Industries sends account, application, admissions, payment and operational communications to the email address connected to your account. Keep that address current, check it regularly, and check your spam folder. Notices sent to that address are treated as delivered to you.
13. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the website and the applicant portal accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may carry out maintenance, change features or suspend the service where necessary. Content on the website does not create a contract or an offer of a place.
14. Responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer rights that apply to you. Subject to that, MAKE Institute of Future Industries is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, for loss caused by information you supplied incorrectly, or for the acts of third parties such as banks, email providers or immigration authorities.
15. Changes to these terms
MAKE Institute of Future Industries may update these terms when necessary, for example when the admissions process, the fee structure or the law changes. The current version is always the version published on the website. The version accepted with your application is retained in your application record.
16. Law and questions
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Estonian courts. For questions about these terms, your account or your application, contact admissions@studyatmake.com.
